Talking helps
That is what Make A Noise is all about. Talking. Talking to our friends, to our parents, our teachers and and sometimes even professionals.
Medicare
All Australian citizens and residents have guaranteed access to health care under the medicare scheme. As soon as you turn 16 you can apply for your own Medicare card using a form you can find at post offices or Medicare branches.
Public services
Around Australia there is countless public health services available for you to use. In most cases they are provided free by the government under the Medicare scheme. These include hospitals and community health centres.
Private insurance
Medicare unfortunately doesn't cover everything, but why would young people like us want with private health insurance? Isn't that for oldies?
Dental health
Keeping your teeth healthy at an early age not only gives you a 'head start' to a decay free life. It is also important that you feel happy with how your teeth look.
